DEPARTMENT PROFILE

Facilities and Services supports 125 academic buildings through appropriated budgets and 36 revenue buildings through a recharge system. The 149 agriculture buildings are also served on a varying basis.

In addition to the buildings, facilities and services includes the infrastructure, such as streets, sidewalks, electrical distribution, water/sewer systems, heating systems as well as other cabling for automation, etc. SDSU maintains 1.98 miles of utility tunnels, 18.5 miles of sidewalks, and 4.0 miles of streets.
